What are lignans?
Lignans are particles of the seeds that contribute to the growth of a plant.  They are vital to the plant & healthy for humans. Just cold pressing the seeds to get just the oil deprives us of some very important parts of the seeds.  Those are the lignans which we include in BodyBio Balance Oil.

What is the recommended dosage of BodyBio Balance Oil?
Approximately 2-4 tablespoons of BodyBio Balance Oil should be taken daily, preferably with protein.

What, exactly, is protein?
An easy way to remember what protein is: protein is anything that moves.  That would include animals & fish.  Some cheeses, soy, and beans are also high in protein.

Why should BodyBio Balance Oil to be taken with Protein?
The cell membrane is a 50/50 combination of lipids & proteins.  Mixing BodyBio Balance Oil with Protein protects the sensitive oils & is a good way to try to reproduce the natural structure of foods.

What are the ingredients?
BodyBio Balance Oil is a blend of organic, cold pressed sunflower and flax oils combined with lignans in a scientifically determined blend of a 4:1 ration of omega 6 to omega 3.

Why can't BodyBio Balance Oil be used to cook with?
Dramatic heat will destroy the double bonds of the lipids, which makes them rancid, so it is best to add after cooking.  We suggest upon receipt, that the oil be stored a freezer, and then stored in a refrigerator after opening.

Are there any side effects from taking BodyBio Balance Oil?
No side effects have ever been reported to us.

How long will 1 bottle of BodyBio Balance Oil last?
Each bottle contains 16 ounces & there are 3 tablespoons in an ounce (approx. 48-1 tablespoon servings).
